Age differences
Older youth were more likely to want more community places to hang out, and slightly less likely to want more after-school activities, than younger youth.
An average of 29.9 percent of young people aged 12 to 13 indicated that they wanted more after-school activities, and this fell slightly to 27.8 percent of those aged 14 to 17.
An average of 41 percent of those aged 12 to 13 indicated that they wanted more community placed to hang out. This increased slightly to 42.1 percent of those aged 14 to 17.
