New Zealand youth unemployment is lower than in most other OECD countries.
In 2007, New Zealand had the 12th lowest youth unemployment rate out of the 30 OECD countries with comparable data. The New Zealand youth unemployment rate is also below the 2007 OECD average of 11.9 percent.(1)
