Age differences
In 2007, there were no significant differences between age groups (grouped into ages 11 and 12, ages 13 and 14, and ages 15 and 16) in terms of self-confidence.
This is in contrast to the 2006 findings (for the same young people at age 10 to 15), in which young people aged 14 and 15 reported lower levels of self-confidence compared to those aged 10 and 11 or 12 and 13.
