Life satisfaction
International comparisons
Levels of life-satisfaction in New Zealand are similar to those in European Union nations.
In a Eurobarometer survey published by the European Union in 2007, 93 percent of young people aged 15 to 24 across 27 European Union nations reported that they were “very happy” (33 percent) or “quite happy” (60 percent) with their lives in general.(1)
