Reading, maths and science literacy at age 15

Sex differences

Females scored higher than males in reading literacy, with a mean score of 539 for females compared to 502 for males.  

Males scored higher in mathematical literacy (527, compared to 517 for females).

There were no significant sex differences in scientific literacy mean scores.
